DJ Black Coffee Slams Enhle Mbali over Light Bills

The ongoing divorce drama between DJ Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali reached its boiling point when a fight about electricity bills spilled over onto social media.

Earlier on Tuesday, 11 May, Mbali told her followers on Instagram Story that she had no power at home, leaving her and her two sons to “enjoy the darkness.” She also implied that her estranged husband deliberately cut the electricity off.

Soon afterwards, Black Coffee took to Twitter to call out the actress on her alleged lies.

He tweeted: “I’ve been taking care of all the household expenses. I take care of all the kids and their school needs. On top of the all this, from November I’ve been paying 65K towards you and the kids [sic].”

As for the electricity, Black Coffee emphatically tweeted: “From March. I have been sending you electricity statements which you are aware of. Yesterday they cut the lights and you’re here once again creating another narrative that it was because of me.Take care of your bills.”

However, he tweeted that he paid Mbali’s outstanding electricity bill “just for the sake of the kids.”

Eish, looks like the battle is over, but the divorce war looks likely to rage on.
